Ordering Transcripts
Copies of official grade transcripts will be issued only at the written request of the student. Transcripts may be ordered in person at the Office of the Registrar, by signed email, or by signed letter.
Requests must be accompanied by the following information:
1. Full name when registered as a student, and current name (if different);
2. Sacred Heart student number and the program in which the degree has been pursued;
3. Current mailing address and a daytime telephone number;
4. Number of transcripts required;
5. The complete name and address of where the transcript is to be sent;
6. Payment information;
7. Signature.
Picking up transcripts
If someone other than the student is required to pick up the transcript, the student must give that person a signed authorization identifying the person and indicating that the person is authorized to pick up the transcript. Photo identification will be required.
Fee
A fee of $30 must be paid for each copy of a transcript. The Office of the Registrar accepts cheques (payable to Sacred Heart College). All payments for transcripts must be paid at the Registrar's Office.
Retention of Grades
Final course grades are retained for a minimum period of 75 years as part of student transcripts. Examinations, final projects/assignments (includes examination answer booklets and other evaluation elements which have not been returned to registrants) are retained for twelve months and then shredded.
