TO GRADUATE
You must get the Registrar's Office to confirm that you have successfully completed the academic requirements for your degree. Once you have graduated and are free of all financial obligations to Sacred Heart, you can get your official transcripts, which will show that you completed your degree successfully, and then you can receive your degree.
IN THE YEAR YOU INTEND TO GRADUATE
You must submit an Application to Graduate form to the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar will assess whether you are enrolled in the courses required to complete the requirements for your degree, and will inform the students by e-mail of the result of this assessment. Only when you have completed the academic requirements for your degree are you allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR DEGREE BUT STILL OWE SACRED HEART MONEY
You may participate in the Spring convocation ceremony but will not receive your degree until your financial obligations are met.
IF YOUR DEGREE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET BUT TOO LATE FOR SPRING GRADUATION
You will have your name submitted for the next appropriate graduation ceremony and receive your degree, provided you are free from all financial obligations to Sacred Heart.
